Personal Comments:
I began my working career while still taking schooling at Manatee Community College as an electronics technician, primarily repairing televisions, stereos, microwave ovens, citizen band radios, etc. I furthered my schooling at University of South Florida when moving to Tampa, Florida during which time I worked as an engineering tech until 1985. In January 1985 I opened a video franchise store, owning and managing the video and VCR rental business through October 1988.

My spouse, Nancy, and I had the opportunity to join the US Government working for the Central Intelligence Agency in late 1988 and for the next 21 years until retirement we served as telecommunication officers in the DC area, then PCS'ed to Europe for back-to-back tours in France, England, and Germany. While serving in England I obtained an additional amateur reciprocal license, M0ZAZ. We retired from the CIA in August 2010, returning to the states and residing in Inverness, Florida.
