I have been licensed as WA2DVU since 1958, graduated from Wildwood NJ high school in 1960 and enlisted in the United States Air Force.  After basic training was stationed in North Bend, Oregon (K7TKU) and then to Athens Greece (SV0WR) as a Ground Radio Repairman repairing Collins R-390a and S-line equipment.  Had a 3-month TDY “vacation” in Tripoli Libya.

I am a life member of ARRL and ECARS and am a NCS twice a week ECARS and NCS for the NJ Phone Net and the Collins Collectors Association, am active in Skywarn, RACES, ARES, and was a past radio officer for Cape May County Civil Defense.

Personal Comments:
After discharge from the AF I started my business, dB Electronics selling and servicing two-way radio systems for government users and business.  Now in my spare time I restore boat anchors.  My favorite is the R-390A.

I am the tech member for our local township cable board and a director for the Naval Air Station Wildwood Aviation Museum (
www.usnasw.org) (NA2SW) that is housed in a 100,000 sq ft wooden hanger built in 1943 that was used to train fighter pilots. I also volunteer at our county animal shelter as their photographer.

Hobbies in addition to Amateur radio are Photography, Horses (have owned and ridden for 50 years), and over the years have adopted unwanted German Shepard dogs.  (I am on my sixth!)

I would be honored to help ECARS in any way that I can.
