- Current Net Control Operator: Yes, currently, 2 sessions weekly and off and on for several years preceding.

Other Amateur Radio History: Active HAM since 1959. Am an Official Relay Station and a Digital Relay Station of the National Traffic System.  I meet the 4th region net early and late each day and most days am the representative for the Eastern Area Net.  In the evening I meet the Virginia Sideband Net (Section level NTS net) and many nights the Northern Virginia Traffic Net (VHF).  I am a member of the Navy Amateur Radio Club.

Personal Comments:
I enjoy ECARS and its service very much.  Accordingly, I have run for and served as Vice President, President, and Director and volunteered for appointment as Net Manager in order to give back to the organization.  I look forward to continuing as Director and helping move ECARS forward in the coming years.

In my professional life, I worked for The Voice of America, retiring in 2011.
