In addition to W3ZR, I hold FCC General Radio Operators License PG00047486 and Radiotelegraph Operator License T000000033 with Ship Radar Endorsement. I am also a licensed Advanced Class Amateur in Canada, call sign VE3SXZ which I have used to check in from Niagara Falls many times when across the border.

I am active in many nets and with my recent change in employment I am finding more time to play on the air.

Personal Comments:
I love monitoring ECARS and checking in when time allows, many times due to the job I can listen online, but can’t routinely check in.

In my professional life, I was previously a 9-1-1 Telecommunicator for the Lycoming/Sullivan County 9-1-1 Center for 27 years and now I am in my first year as Sheriff of Sullivan County, Pennsylvania.

In addition to Ham radio, I enjoy working on computers, I am an active Freemason “going through the chairs” at my Lodge. (Eureka #335, Montoursville PA). And also a volunteer in the local Fire Company and serve as Ambulance Secretary, and Acting Secretary of Flotilla 15-3 US Coast Guard Auxiliary in Wilkes-Barre, PA.
