Other Amateur Radio History: Active HAM since 1975. DX’er, NCS on local 2 meter net. Life member “7272” Rag Chewers net. Life member ARRL.

Personal Comments:
I very much enjoy doing NCS on ECARS. I feel the net offers a unique service to the Amateur Radio Community through friendship and “being there” for each other.  I joined ECARS in the late 90’s, can’t remember exactly when, but my ID # is 175. So we have been around a spell.
 
I look forward to being part of ECARS and the “mission” of the net as it changes with the needs of the Amateurs we serve each and every day.

In my professional life, I was a photographer and a nurse.  As a photographer in the pre-digital days, I worked in both ‘shooting’ and dark room development and achieved the level of master photographic printer in black and white.  I went to Nursing School at the age of 43 and spent a total of 17 years nursing in a variety of specialties before retiring in 2005.
